Unclean

Once when Jesus was hanging out at a big party with a crowd of infamous sinners, a group of stuck up religious people started interrogating his closest friends about why such a good guy would surround himself with such bad people. Jesus replied, “It’s not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I didn’t come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Too often the Church gets the bad rap that it’s more of a social club full of pristine people than it is a hospital full of broken people looking to get healed. In our series, Unclean, we will explore what it means to be loved by God for who we really are, and what it means for us to offer that same kind of radical love to others, so that we can all be made whole together.
